Studio

Built for the field first.

Wovoka works on forest land in the Philippines and East Africa. The tools that work needed didn't exist, so we built them: offline field apps, registry pipelines, voice and workflow systems. Then we used the same team and the same methods to run several more businesses. Wovoka Studio offers that capability to clients.

Why the Philippines

A highly educated workforce, and AI that changes what a small team can do. A generation of Filipino engineers, analysts and scientists is underemployed relative to its ability. AI has collapsed the cost of turning a clear specification into working software. A small team that understands the domain now ships in weeks what used to take a quarter.

The constraint is knowing what to build. That's the part we're good at, because everything we've shipped started as a problem we had ourselves.

How we work with AI

AI builds, drafts and remembers. People decide.

Rule 01

Nothing external without a yes

Emails, store changes and payments are drafted by AI and sent by a person.

Rule 02

Claims must be defensible

Every number we publish, here or for a client, can be traced to its source.

Rule 03

Changes go through review

Anything live changes through a pull request with a preview. No one, human or AI, edits production directly.

Rule 04

Your data stays yours

We build in your accounts. Secrets never go into code, and personal data never goes into a repository.
